great beer, great hosts, superb atmosphere and dedicated crowds. That’s St Vitus in Brooklyn, NY. Only comparable venue I’ve been to is the Underworld in Camden, London. Can’t wait to get back to either venue.

Saint Vitus is a neighborhood bar, a music venue and an event space masterfully designed and built by Matthew Maddy known for his work at Weather-Ups (Brooklyn and Tribeca), No.7 and Anella. Maddy was able to magically convert this old social club and plumbing school at the end of Manhattan Ave., into a sleek but industrial, speak easy style drinking establishment that perfectly fit the vision of the owners. Finally, Greenpoint has a real ROCK BAR!
