Mastodon and Gojira
On the 16th October Mastodon returned to Reno with Gojira as support. Last time I saw them here at the Grand Sierra resort they were double headed with Opeth. Mastodon I’ve followed for a number of years. Their popularity has grown significantly and their recent albums reflect a little more mainstream heavy rock in their style. Neurosis and Subrosa, Englewood, CO
while on a road trip to the Rockies and a fabulous trip up Pikes Peak, got a chance to see Neurosis and SubRosa again, this time in Englewood, CO. The old theatr is a great venue and both bands didn’t disappoint. Hung out with SubRosa for a while after their show, lobbied Rebecca to add some London dates to their trip over to Roadburn next spring. Metal is rad btw, just saying.
